Meet Judy

Hey there, I’m Judy McDonald — surfer, breast cancer warrior, stand-up comedian, dog trainer, and now, artist who somehow manages to get more resin on herself than on the canvas. Life has taken me on some wild rides, from chasing waves to navigating health setbacks, but one thing has remained constant—my love for the ocean and the joy of creating.

My resin beach artwork is more than just a nod to my surfing days; it’s my way of bottling up the beauty, peace, and sheer unpredictability of the sea (minus the wipeouts and sand in uncomfortable places). Each piece is infused with humor, heart, and the kind of determination that comes from facing life’s curveballs head-on.

Although my body isn’t always on board with my grand plans these days, my spirit is still surfing—carving new paths in creativity, laughing at the little mishaps, and finding joy in the process. Whether you're here for the art, the story, or just to see if I manage to keep my dog from running through wet resin again, welcome! I hope my work brings a little piece of the ocean’s magic into your life.

Ready to dive in? Just don’t forget your board wax. 😉

Resin, resin, resin

Resin art: where the project looks stunning, the workspace looks like a biohazard zone, and your sanity slowly cures with the epoxy.

Creating art with it? Oh, that's where chemistry meets chaos—mix too fast and it froths like it’s auditioning for a latte, wait too long and it cures with your glove still inside. But hey, nothing says “I’m a creative genius” like trying to pop bubbles with a toothpick while questioning every life choice that led you here.

We halp!

Studio assistants with zero boundaries. Crafting resin art while dodging flying fur? That’s elite-level precision. Keeping their hair out of the final piece takes ninja reflexes and a lint roller arsenal—yet somehow, they still think it’s a collaborative effort.
